What's the lightest color you can get? I just spoke with a local installer who normally has 55% but said he could get 70% if I wanted. Would the tint have any negative impact on the HUD?
We've had Llumar Clear Blue 80 on an F430, BMW X5M and Camaro SS 1LE. No issue with the HUD - especially on the Ferrari... because it didn't have one . Nothing but positives.
Just to be clear if some don’t know. Windows come from factory with 70% tint (printed on glass in TINY letters). I do realize that ceramic tint is supposed to cut HEAT also & “normal” tint only cuts light transmission.😎 Some states allow no windshield tint or it’s restricted to above the line of sight (forget the technical term). PS: Found it, the AS1 line.

Yes, do check your state laws. I've a friend who moved in-state and was stopped the first week in his Vette with just a thin "Corvette" text emblem across the top of his. NO add-on wind-shield "tint," at all allowed. All the best.
