Neutral indicator with M7

Should I see “N” in the display when my 19 Z51 with M7 tranny is in neutral?

I've driven manual's for 40+ years...but the first time I've had one that displayed the gear on the dash screen was for our 2019 Subaru Crosstrek (our 2016 Subaru Forester didn't have this yet). But compared with my 2019 C7 M7, it doesn't display when you're in 'R'...and it has a lag before the current gear shows up on the screen. The C7 in comparison is pretty well instantaneous.
