I have been looking at several used C7 at local used car dealership (non Chevy dealership). I found one that I really like, but the headlights are not level with the hood/bumper. I could not find any evidence that the car was involved in accident. Everything look perfect except the front of the headlights sitsa little bit taller than the bumper, one side sits taller than the others. Is it a common build quality issue or the car had some frontal body work?

They should not be misaligned. If you really want the car, tell the dealer that the deal is contingent upon them getting the light to line up with the bumper/hood. If they won't do that, find another car.

My new '14 had that problem and I thought it was a big enough deal to remove the front bumper and try to fix it myself. The amount of stuff that needed to be removed was not worth fixing what was wrong. I put the bumper back on and moved on with my life. It was still there when I sold it this year and no one but me knew it. Drive the car. Not a big deal.
