Default 2019 GS door protector

I've noticed on my new GS that when I close either door I leave fingerprints on the door edge. Is there a simple answer (Clear plastic tab) or some clingy thing to apply to the door handle edge to prevent this? A stocking stuffer ? Thx, Sully

Sorry to say, but the guy in the video didn't come up with anything.

We (those of us on the forum) have been advocating the door latch-hoop method since 2014.

Now, if only I could get Mr.owc6 to do this. Muscle memory issue, since he doesn't need to do it on the '08.

When I went to post, all I could come up with was, "silver door latch" also! I decided that wouldn't be enough for some people, lol. I thought someone has to have to have made a video, and I found that

Get an understanding look from your passengers when you tell them how to correctly close the door? LOL My imagination is running wild right now.

And you have to tell them not grab the front, outside of the roof, when they swing their feet out!

The back of my hand doesn't have "fingerprints", but does have some "texture" and just enough oil to make dust collect on the paint if I use it to close the door.

I have found that those nasty fingers prints wipe right off - magic! But then I drive mine in the rain too!
