On the passenger side of the Z51, just in front of the cabin air filter are a couple quick disconnect..what I THINK are oil vent lines maybe? I need to pop them loose to get that filter out unless there's another trick I don't know about. How do those suckers pop loose? Thanks in advance!
You don’t need to disconnect the oil vent lines to replace the cabin air filter. Unclip and remove the filter cover and the cabin air filter will slide out above the oil lines.
Squeeze the light gray tabs on either side and that will release the lines. I disconnect mine to service the cabin filter, it’s easier for me that way.

Those quick disconnect lines are a great thing - sure makes removing the lines very easy.
Guys - thanks for the info. I found it MUCH easier to disconnect those lines and move them out of the way. My '14 Z51 Premier Edition came with body color painted covers in place and I also found it a lot easier to pop those off and get them out of the way as well. You're right - that OEM filter is pretty dang flexible (and flimsy). Not that it matters a whole lot, but I got Denso 454-5055 Air Filters (I bought a few) and they're about twice as heavy and thick as the OEM one. Much sturdier filter. They also have activated carbon (doubt that does MUCH - but hey) to supposedly cut down on odor.
Anyway - just wanted to say thanks for the replies. I appreciate the info.
