Have 3k to pump into my 2017 z51....prefer not to void extended warranty but not opposed and just looking to make more fun driving 15 miles a day total as it is my daily driver and not a long trip to work..initial thoughts are.
awe xpipe for sound ~700 installed
cai...tbd ~ 700 installed
throttle body - tbd but sounds like 400
what else are you thinking and what else could add to the joy! Looking to add to the driving experience and I spend all my time under 60 for 15 miles a day
Brother Corvette owner, what is with the 10-15 miles a day? You are killing your Corvette. You are creating all the moisture by-products of fossil fuel burning, without raising the temps of the engine and exhaust to burn that stuff off!
You are ALSO missing out on the FUN of owning a Corvette! -DRIVE that thing, take it out to the woods, to the mountains, to the ocean... See the country from your Corvette!
There is no advantage to be gained by keeping ultra-low mileage on a C7, it will NEVER increase in value. It will NEVER be a classic or antique. Look at all those dudes who bought 1982 C3 Collector Editions (I had one), thinking they would become rare and valuable some day..... NOT!
Treat your Corvette with the respect due..... Like a race horse! Give her some exercise, the serious kind!

its because it is my daily driver and it’s not a long trip to the office...if I could be driving it more I would...and we drive on enclave on the weekend with the family...
Based on the responses sounds like the plan I had will make the most sense...solar throttle body sounds interesting, guess I just need to decide on the cai and whether to tune or not and add headers
$3K = multiple track days. Depending on where you live, up to 10. Way more fun
Definitely an entertaining way to spend the money, but I'm sure you know that there is a lot more expense to racing than just the price of entry to the track. Consumables such as tires and brakes wear pretty quickly on the track. Also one has to prepare for the possibility of wrecking the car on the track, which most insurance policies will not cover, so 3rd party track day insurance may be advisable. Driving skills are always a good investment, but these are just some additional expenses for the OP to consider when tracking a car.
