Local tire shop suggested the Toyo Proxes 4 PLUS as an alternative to the more spendy Michelin AS3+ and the Continental DWS06's.
Quoted $1150 out the door including 295's for the rear rather than the stock 285's. Tire specs meet/exceed the Michelin and Conti's. Anyone here running them?
I had Toyo Proxes on my C6 and loved them, but the 295/30/20 isn't available locally here or on Tire Rack, so if your dealer has them that's a good deal for you IMHO.
Had a set of these on my 15 Z51 on Cray Spider rims. I had about 20k on them when I traded it in. They were great and definitely quieter. The only downside for me was I had the car lowered on stock bolts and the 295’s hit the inner fender wells on occasion. It wasn’t bad but you could hear it when it did. It was very minor ...Other than that they were fine .

strange, I've seen other claim the can run 305s on lowered stock bolts without rubbing.

I have them on my car currently and like them so far. A definite improvement in handling over my last set of DWS 06's, I think wet traction is better on the DWS 06's up to about 50% tread wear then they're crap. Haven't had them in any snow yet. I'm running 225's up front and 295 rears on XO Verona wheels at stock height and over a very large dip in the road i did not notice I did rub on the drivers side which has never happened with my other 295's on the rear. Like I said I'm stock height, but stock height seems to be subjective as I'm about 1/2 inch lower than all the stock height cars I've been next to.
Two TOYO PROXES 4 PLUS Ultra High Performance All-Season Tires 245/35R19. $250 for both tires.
I purchased the TOYO tires while on a road trip to replace one tire that failed. I needed to purchase a matching pair for my Corvette. When I returned home, I purchase one tire to match the tire that failed and swapped them out with the TOYO tires. So, in other words, this is a great price for the TOYO tires with very low mileage.
