There are many, many threads on when to buy a C7 and on the A8 - just look through the first couple of pages of this sub-forum.

If you want a new C7 and are willing to perhaps be flexible on the option package, go for it now. Inventory of new C7s is dropping.

The ‘15-18 C7s have experienced some issues with the A8 and ‘19s built through around the end of January 2019 also were included.

PS Must have an auto,
interesting with your last point about the auto....if you wanted a manual I’d say go for it now in the dead of winter and get the best deal possible...the fact that you want an auto gives you more options and likely better deals once the c8 comes out without a manual.

honestly, I’d either buy one now or wait 2.5 years....I personally would never buy a first year of a new model
