The $28 e-bay ones and the $100 GM ones are identical. Yes the regular body cars are plug and play, no swapping of clips.

From what I understand they fit any C7 other than a ZR1. I personally have them on my 2019 Grand Sport and know for a fact from reading many previous threads on here they also fit a 2019 Stingray. They are extended but by how much? other people will have to chime in as my car is in storage. Look at the picture and be the judge maybe 3/4 of a inch? The car oem is flush to the fender, in the picture, that's how much they stick out.
How hard would these be to sand and paint Carbon Flash??
Don't know how hard but I can tell you they would get beat to hell in no time. Not worth the effort. And don't forget it wouldn't match the piece on the other side of it.
Hi All, I just spent 25 minutes in the garage changing all four mud flaps! They fit like a glove, yes you do have to transfer one clip on the rear set. That is clip that the screw goes back into. Here are some pictures of the new flaps. As Oh Boy said "Easy Peasy. It will give you between 1/2 and 3/4 inch more protection from stone damage. A whopping $ 35. Well worth it.
