Default C7 wiper switch

Does anyone have wiring info on the wiper stalk switch?

I've see this asked before - no reply to the OP...

In this case I am using C7 tile tele column, there are 4 wires, the pump, gray, ground black, white - high speed, and yellow.
I can ge continuity on the pump and the high speed.

I thought I might have a bad stalk since I could not get continuity off the yellow wire under any conditions.

I have seen on this forum that it is controlled by the BCM - but - control and continuity are two separate things -

Under what conditions does the yellow wire - and or low speed close the circuit through the switch?

I've no idea, but you must have a wiper problem... may I ask what it is/was, please?

lets try a second reply since the first didn't save

Its a C7
was a C7
is a C& will be a C7, electrically.

no issues with motor or pump

cannot get continuity on low speed - the yellow wire never has continuity.

so I'm looking for Chevy Tech or someone with CAN bus background to explain how a simple switch, now two, cannot have continuity when the switch is closed - electricity has to pass thru it in that position.

Diagram from a 2019......

It looks to me that the grey wire is the high speed wire.

Yellow/blue is the low speed/intermittent wire. Yellow/blue will never be a straight pass through, at a minimum it passes through a 332 ohm resistor.

White/black is the washer pump.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for posting. this helps a lot to see what is supposed to be.

Yes the Yellow-Blue wire is the topic here - as I look at the circuit - all the detail - I assume - is on the printed circuit - inside the stalk?

Does having this resistance mean there is no continuity?

Tonight I'll measure resistance - we should be able to see that 332 ohm minimum, and then increasing values for the switch delay positions...

Do you happen to have the same schematic for the turn signal stalk?

I have similar situation where the low beam circuit does not show continuity..

Yes I would assume the resistors are part of the stalk switch.

Turn signal diagram is attached. Looks to be a straight forward switch.

UPDATE - the wiper switch measured varying resistance so all wires ok and switch OK - it is the resistances that need to be measured and they look real good.

On the head lamp switch - though - I have on two wires that never are activated (have zero resistance or partial resistance) Meaning they are always open.

and am thinking the switch internally may be damaged, the push forward in car for high beams never activates a wire, whereas flash to pass does

Then the GRN with VIO wire - there are two of these and one of them never shows continuity or less than infinite resistance...
