If you can wait a couple weeks, Mobil usually does a rebate starting in April every year. Normally $12 rebate per 5 quarts (individual qts or 5 qt jug).
It also just occurred to me that I don't know if they'll allow a purchase from my Chevrolet dealer. Most of their approved retailers don't sell ESP. I'll try calling them on Monday. Gives me something to do while stuck at home....

I'm trying to decide whether to just get the two 5-quart bottles of 5W-30 from Walmart, or get the 12 quarts of 0W-40 from Speedway. I seriously doubt the rebate will work with 0W-40 but I hope I'm wrong. I have used the rebates with Walmart before. If you buy it online and have it shipped, just make sure your receipt shows "shipped" on it. They got persnickety on me about that. I had to point out that it did indeed say shipped on the receipt I sent them. Walmart is not a problem for rebates from my experience.

And it looks like you can order from Speedway thru the Walmart website. I don't know if that hop is allowed for the rebate. Either way, I'll post after I call.
I'm debating on 5W-30 vs 0W-40 too. I have a wet sump car, so it's not going on a track anyway, and there are plenty of 2014-18 cars that lived on nothing but 5W-30. But it's a personal decision, and I'm not opening that up for the millionth forum discussion.
