I'm sure most members go with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Does anyone have any experience with any other tire manufactures. I have a 2017 Grand Sport. Any tire recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Tim
We are super happy w/ the Continental DWS on my wife's Mustang GT. So I just got a set mounted on American Racing AR924s for my base 19 Stingray from Tire Rack
-Another vote for the Conti DWS's. I have them on my BMW 540i, had them on the C5, and now the C7. Great grip, and very quiet. Oh yeah- And NO hopping, skipping, or shuddering when you turn the wheels at low speed!

What sizes did you find in the DWS that work for a GS?
Beckertim - what qualities are you looking for in a tire? Track, daily driving, all season (cooler temps)? There are different options based on the application.

I run Bridgestone S007A - its a decent track tire, but not the best. However it can also handle daily duty in warm FL with no complaints. Every tire is a compromise, you need pick what is important to you. I did not like the OEM Michelins for several reasons, yet people around here love 'em.
Search in here under Continental. There are a few posts re: alternate tires.
Me? I just bought Continentals but not the DWS because (1) I don't need them in SoCal, and (2) the grip and performance has been found to be better in Extreme Contact Sports than the DWSs (google it).
They don't make my favorite Michelin PSS or the 4S's that I've had on my C5 and C6 Z06's in a non-runcrap tire. So for my 2017 GS I just switched to the Conti ECS's.
Wonderful, smooth, relatively quiet, and for street they're just as good as the Michelins. Car magazine reviews say the ECS's are pretty much as good for track, but some in here say they fall off at extreme speed on track. I rarely go over 100 in the City (highways, for spurts with no one around).

Good luck.
