Question: I have a 2019 Stingray LT2 that I just bought back in September 2019. I currently have 1,750 miles on the car and after reading all the posts about the shuttering, etc... I bought the Range AFM DISABLER - so my question is if it’s installed and it keeps it in V8 all the time will the “exhaust valves” still be open ALL THE TIME ? That’s what I would actually prefer !!! Also, I’ve configured the settings to have the sound in track mode and the steering in sport mode and always drive in sport !!!
My understanding is that the exhaust afm valves purpose is to close to some degree in V4 mode to increase back pressure. Since the Range device prevents V4 mode, the afm valves should remain open at all times? If so, there would be no need to pull exhaust fuse. Just asking.

The fuses that were correctly listed refer to the NPP valves at the end of the exhaust system. The AFM valves are left alone to be controlled by the ECM or BCM (whichever).
You are correct that the AFM valves are directly in response to the V4 mode. You do not pull the AFM fuses.
Thanks! I have a non-NPP Stingray and added AWE afm valve back mufflers. Sound is great and don't need to pull fuse. Also does not affect warranty or emission test in the future.
Thanks all for your input - I really appreciate the help !! Since the other day I've installed the Range AFM Disabler and I'm good to go - NO issues at all and seems to be a "smoother" ride during shifts.
