Default Limited Slip

I have recently acquired a 2018 ZO6 coupe. I am still getting familiar with the information that is available on the DIC. One of the parameters displayed is something the owners guide calls "eLSD and Wheel Slip". I have noticed when cruising down the road, a small percentage of slip is always indicated on the display. Is this normal? If so why? What is actually slipping if I am tooling down the road in a straight line with no acceleration.

Thanks in advance!

Jim

Perfectly normal. Both wheels are driven.

It's the percentage of LSD clutch lockup. Not wheel slip. It's explained in depth here: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...post1595390093

Driving straight down the road, we have some speed based preload to add stability and on-center feel. This is going to be relatively small and you will only see a small amount around 10-15% at highway speeds. You'll notice that when you do steering inputs and simple lane changes that it drops down slightly and then pops back up when you are going straight again. This strategy is to improve steering feel and agility.
