2019 Stingray: I thought when I first started driving I saw colored lines t at the top of the tach. I’ve only put on about 800 miles and they’re gone. Not sure if they were ever there. Was I hallucinating?

Nope they are there during the first 500 to keep you from spinning the engine too fast during break-in. They will also NOW show up when the car is cold to remind you to not spin the engine too fast until it is warmed up.

It’s interesting to see how the redline moves as the car warms up

To add to the comments above, if the engine is cold and you rev into the yellow or red zones on the tach, the entire outer ring of the tach will light up that color.

Don't flame me boys, I don't rev it out cold - I just clipped the low yellow once or twice, and it's just something I noticed.
