Yes. Disengage Link to Drive Mode, set the DIC to Tour, change the HUD to sport.
After using Link to Drive Mode forever I decided to change it up recently and set the DIC display to Track mode and then changed the HUD to the Tour mode setting since it has the least amount of distraction and puts the speed limit sign in the HUD. I can then change between Tour, Sport and Track and I'll have the Track display in the DIC and the Tour mode display in the HUD. This is for day to day driving. If I need full Track or want the round Sport mode in the HUD I could always change it.

Does this only work on the newer C7s? Haven't tried it on my '14 yet but just curious before I try.

No one has come up with a permanent fix for the '14s.
It's a mystery for sure.
