I just purchased a 17 c7 and was going through my settings and noticed that in my track setting on the dash my lap timer is not there. I have watched a video and it should be right after the 0 to 60, can someone give me advise
IIRC GM removed it but the firmware update that gives you new mode settings returns the lap timer. There may be an update of the firmware for non-Z51s too. Check with the dealer.

why would they remove it if we have cars that are meant to be tracked?
I may have misspoken here. I was talking about the 0-60 timer and I think the OP was asking about the lap timer. I think for the lap timer you need to set the finish line in the PDR so that the system knows where to mark the lap? Well I'm sure I'll be corrected here if I'm wrong. OP maybe post the URL for the video you spoke of...

Watch "How to Configure C7 Corvette Digital Instrument Cluster" on YouTube
What the author didn't mention that he should have is that if you put your car into Service Mode (correct name?) by pressing the start button for 10 seconds, the DIC will not turn off automatically so you must press the start button when done to keep from running down your battery.
IIRC the lap timer display goes away if you have PDR. It was fun to play with on my '14, The display is not there on my '19 but the times will update if you have PDR running and have set a start / finish line.
There was a thread on this a couple years ago - i"ll see if I can find it.
I haven't had a lot of opportunity to explore all of the differences between my former '14 Z51 and '19 GS due to weather. Most of my drives only consist of one lap - start and end at home or don't even complete a lap. I may have to try circling the block a few times.
Android Auto will only work with the USB cord plugged in on my 2019. I think I read that 2020+ has wireless Android Auto and wireless charging.

This makes sense and is probably the issue for me as I have a PDR. I was looking at those times in the track mode display and was wondering how I would use them. I've only used the Mark Start/Finish time once at Spring Mountian.
The lap timer works with a pdr on the 19's, or at least it does on mine.
Yeah, but with a PDR you use that to set the start/finish line and then the lap timer works. A C7 without the PDR apparently uses the DIC setting to start/stop the lap timer.

Makes sense. If you don't set start/finish pdr doesn't time correctly either.
