I just purchase a EOS Z06 side skirt, although the fitting is fine, I was shocked to find that the side skirt is a hollow shell with a nice top finish. Are the OEM or more expensive aftermarket skirts has a flat bottom and build like a actual air foil? I wonder the how to hollow shell side skirt will gain any performance?
I tracked my Z51 both with and without the skirts... and trust me you WANT the skirts to keep crap from getting on the side of the car.
The splash guards are not enough - my Z51 had those and while I'm sure they help some its apparently not enough.
The black marks are rubber kicked up from the front stock tires.
The splash guards are good for street road dust. but sticky tires ( My Toyo proxies R888R ) on the track at 120 + leave lots of rubber. The side skirts make a big difference Fun time at NewJersy track
