Really not all that good since it doesn't say street names or have traffic unless you pay. Think it's still cool to have in case my phone is lost but that would be a rare case.

I've said this many times, all GPS nav systems pretty much work equally well (provided they have the mapping data available). The real differentiator, the real way to evaluate how well a navigation system works is not just getting from point A to point B rather it's things like how easy it is to get the nav system to recognize the destinations (voice recognition, POI depth, etc), whether it supports multiple stops, easy ways to quickly locate detours like "Find gas", etc., traffic avoidance and re-routing, lane guidance for exits, etc. IOW "navigate from point A to point B" is just basic.
On road trips I set up the iPhone/CarPlay with either maps or Waze or GasBuddy
In two "updates" on the Mustang and one on the 'vette the new and improved maps failed to include significant changes to I-15 in Las Vegas and CA 168 in Commiefornia that were at least two years old...
Given the frequency and accuracy of "new" data I decided that I will buy it every three or so years using the end of the year "discount-"...
