I have a C7 stingray with stock seats. Adore the car. Problem is me. I have a sciatica like condition. When i sit in certain car seats i get terrible pain starting in my hip then moving down my leg. Happens in many cars, but the C7 is about the worst I've ever experienced. I currently have a seat cushion that helps a bit. Wonder if any of you so afflicted have a magical approach?
Soak your feet before bed in Epson salts/water (hot). That seems to help get rid of toxins but myself I'm looking at hip replacement. Socket is B a d .
Thank you so much. This is EXACTLY my problem. Left thigh. I am having a bit of trouble understand the fix (bad 3d sense,) But I'll look on the car. Here's hoping this solves the problem.
Steve
PS: I'll report back in case anyone wants to know.

Funny I have the opposite issue - battling sciatica for 35 years no fun - when I drive my truck in winter its much worse
In vette its much better - good luck with that problem its a tough one to figure out - been to every expert around and they dont have a clue

Rest your left foot on the dead pedal and adjust the seat so that your left thigh has minimal contact with the seat.
Works for me, but you make have to tweak the seat adjustments to your liking.
I added a 4X4 block of wood to my “dead pedal”. I stapled black carpet to it and attached it to the factory dead pedal with clips that I happened to have. It blends right in. I can rest my foot against it or stretch out my leg and rest my heel on top of it. It helps with the pain I get in the side of my left thigh.

this is exactly what Ive been doing will the the seat fix. Thanks to all!
If its the left thigh, its the fact that there is no give in the left bolster due to the support bar. The fix is to go between the seat and the controls and "bend the bar" away from the middle and down. This gives just enough give for your thigh to rest comfortably instead of something pressing into the left thigh. The inside bolster does not do this so its only that damn support bar which gets in the way.
I get numbness in both feet if the seat in any car isn’t just right for me and the beautiful seats in my Grand Sport are definitely not right for me. Fortunately the seats in one of our other cars are a great fit for me. After trying various pads and cushions in the Corvette, all with no success, I took a different approach. I purchased a four foot piece of 3/16” metal rod at Lowe’s and carefully bent it to match the contours of the comfortable seat in our other car. I then used the rod as a template to compare the comfortable seat to the Corvette’s seat. The two seats where radically different, especially the bottoms. Using some small towels as temporary cushions I “recontoured” the Corvette’s seat bottom to better match the profile of the template and was delighted to find the problem about 80% improved. Just my experience.
I can offer some information... the sciatic nerve is the largest nerve in your body... its diameter is as big as your thumb.. I was injured in Vietnam ( IED 106 recoilless rifle jeep...)and after going to Thailand , then Japan, them Valley forge Army hospital, I learned a ton.. its kept me from the knife. when you have pain down the left leg, it feels like a hamstring pull. but also like a tooth ache.. sometime your leg may go to sleep.. the reason is called the sciatic notch ...between L5 and S1 ( the small of your back..( weakest part of your spine ) what is happening is you have narrowing of the inner space between L5 and S1.... If you look up the exercise ( " Pelvic tilt " ) it will help alot I do this exercise a dozen times a day I can do it standing or sitting but that takes practice .. you need to lay on the floor when you first learn... this narrowing of the inner space, puts pressure on your sciatic nerve and it get inflamed.. it swells and rubs on the vertebra above and below... you either need an anti inflammatory to shrink the swelling or add the correct pressure at the sciatic notch. to increase the clearance. if you get one of those foam floaties ( they come in colors, cut it to size and place that in the small of your back it will cause the sciatic notch to spread and allow the sciatic nerve to shrink.. its the rubbing that causes the pain because there is little clearance... when you get in the wrong position as you get older this innersp0ace can easily be compromised.. Last summer I was in my shed, about 180 feet from my house, I moved the wrong way and it took me a half hour to get from the shed to my house, with all my weight on my fence..
IM not trying to be a know it all here, just offering some understanding.. the whole Idea is to shrink back the swollen sciatic nerve.. when I say there is little clearance the sciatic nerve sits in the notch and there is only a few thousands clearance.. I know this is wordy, IM just trying to help Understanding arresting the pain is critical.. a few minutes of pelvic tilt can relieve a bad episode. The wrong thing would be to try to work through the pain without arresting it.. it will only make the never swell more. try that round foam floatie use in a swimming pool. in your C7 think of it as a more aggressive lumbar support.
You can always PM me for more help or support.

Try sitting more upright by adjusting seat ....back the lumbar all the way back...pay attention to how your legs and arms are situated as well....Use the telescoping steering and get yourself in a position where nothing is extended extreme in or out...At first you will be miserable but the pain will be less. (if you are a lounger driver especially) Getting the body over it otherwise takes time....good luck.
At home lay on your back with with your knees resting on the arm of the couch or chair. Get your *** close to the chair so thighs are vertical as possible so back of knees rest on chair/couch arm...
do that 20 /30 minutes at a time couple times a day...
I went through a spell of that horrible dull toothache throbbing pain and those tips helped...
