GS center stripes
Hi , I have a 2018 GS coupe and would like to put the center stripes on my car . GM OEM stripes are really pricey , if you buy them through a Chevrolet dealership or parts warehouses . Has anyone used vettestripes.com , 3m 1080 carbon flash to do their cars ? Are their stripes as good of quality as the originals supplied by GM , size , shape , thickness and quality ? Would like to get some feedback if possible from you guys … Really appreciate it … Thanks

If you have the original stinger stripe, be aware that I could find no perfect matches from any suppliers when I looked into adding the rear GS stripes to my Z06 vert. After reconsideration, I chose to not add the rear/waterfall stripes as there was the minor match issue and I also felt with the carbon flash inserts on the deck behind the seats it would be a little too busy looking with the top down. Vette stripes was the closest but still none of the 3 samples he sent was exact. If you do not have the factory stinger I would definitely go with Vettestripes or paint.

What colour is your car and what colour stripe are you thinking of getting?
The GS cars from the factory with the GS stripe have the hood vent painted the same colour as the stripe.
So unless you are going with a Carbon Flash stripe you may want to paint the hood vent.

Nope … all GS and ZO6 have carbon flash regardless of stripes … it's an option for painted vents and taillight bezels

You have to choose the heritage package to get the GS stripe. ( this is not the stinger stripe or the twin stripes )
you will then see that the hood vent is painted the same colour as the stripe.
