2. A rumble/vibration noise that only happens at low RPMs and goes away after a little medium level acceleration. But, this does not happen often. Maybe once/twice a month.
3. Jerky gear change into drive/reverse, which apparently most people experience.
I have an appointment with a dealer in Glendale (Los Angeles), CA on Tuesday, so I was hoping to get a little guidance beforehand.
Any help or pointers to what these issues might be would be super helpful.
Thank you in advance!
Well, the weird thing for that clicking noise is that it will happen every day for a week. And, then disappear for a month. Then, come back for day. Then, no noises for a few weeks. And, this cycle generally just continues to repeat itself. Super odd.
I had a muffler on a mustang that began to rattle at only certain rpms. Can you maintain the sound? If you were to accelerate slowly could you maintain the sound once it started happening?

I had similar symptoms and they ended up replacing the "driveline support assembly". A big job apparently, they have to drop the rear "cradle" and the replacement has to be installed perfectly to avoid future issues. That was at about 8,000 miles, I'm at about 14,000 now and it seems to be okay. I was lucky in that my dealer happened to have the part in stock, not often the case from what I understand. I hope your problem is not as serious. Best of luck!
