Default Comparing 2LT vs 3LT Stingray

What is the difference between a 2LT and a 3LT package on a 2019 Stingray Convertible and is it really worth the difference in price?

If you want the best interior than it is worth it. The delaminating issue notwithstanding, only you can determine if that feeling is worth 4K to you.

Thanks; 4k is a lot for interior that really isn't that different.

Keep in mind 3LT also adds an pgraded MyLink touchscreen display w/NAVigation, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, together with the Performance Data Recorder.

correct, but I'm certain most buyers who opt for the 2LT also option out the MyLink touchscreen display w/NAVigation, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, and Performance Data Recorder.

Likely, but this is not comparing the two packages directly as requested by the OP.

Once can, of course, option the car in many different ways.

IMO the 2LT is the options "sweet spot" and the 3LT is essentially additional interior upgrades which for me is not worth the additional $$. YMMV

Visually the 3lt leather looks somewhat better. The sail panels and other interior panels have a suede looking covering on them. I've had both and for me the 2lt works better. I did get the pdr, mylink, etc. My 15z was 3lt my 19 2lt.
I have black interiors in both so the difference would be more noticeable with a different interior.

It's also worth noting that this is not true for 14's and 15's.

IMO NOTHING that comes with the 3LT is worth $4000.00. Beside a fair amount of 3LT dashboards suffer delamination. Who wants to get stuck with that major problem.

If you appreciate the finer things in life, get the 3LT. It really does give the interior a high quality feel.

Nice cliche but exactly how does the 3LT actually improve the quality of the interior especially given it costs an extra 4 grand?

Could it be you got a 3LT interior and are trying to rationalize spending 4 grand?

Top on the list for me was 3LT and I'm absolutely not trying to rationalize anything. I have always thought the inside to be more important than the outside since I'm sitting in it and others are only looking at it. I have never felt the need to impress others so when buying the car I planned to spend hours sitting in the choice came easy. The NAV was also something I wanted so adding it to a 2LT package cut the difference between the two a good amount.

Just picked up a new 2019 w/3LT. I had a 2LT '17. I wouldn't pay $4K for it, but I got the new one for over $30K off sticker so no complaints here. The leather is nicer for sure......I had the grey interior in both. Funny thing.....my '17 had a horrible chemical smell for about 1.5 years. This new has none of that odor. Maybe it's the better leather? I don't know. Sure looks and feels good, though.

A lot of 2LTs are optioned to the 3LT minus the leather trim. In my case that was a preference and a decision I’m glad I made. The term “worth it” can only be made by the buyer. It’s worth it to most 3LT buyers and most likely “not” to a well optioned 2LT buyer. Next someone will be on here about Z51 vs GS, it’s all relative to the buyer’s preference.
