Took the Vette on a 50 mile run in -2 degrees. Michelin AS3's are great. Almost no diminished traction, only break loose when you really get on it. Ride is very smooth and cornering is great. Normal drivers won't tell the difference between 70 degrees and 0 degrees (Not much anyway)
I recently changed to Michelin AS3's and so have been pleased. No "normal driving" change. Meaning, the corvette still corners flat, nice steering feel, etc. I had the AS series tires before...first back in 2001 on my slk and then on my audi TT.
I just got mine installed with new rims too! I like not having to worry about temps when the sun is shining and no bad weather is in sight. I like them so far, but do notice a difference in sensitivity to the road. They seem to have a tad bit more "feeling" and "hearing" when in sport mode when compared to my Z-51 OEM's...this may be due to the colder road surface that I have not driven on before in my Vette... I'll most likely never go back to the Super Sports...

I put AS3+ ZPs on my car last September and I have been very pleased with them. No problems driving in colder temps. Nice to be able to drive the car all year around.
The first thing I did. Went w/ the Conti DWS for the same reason. I will not have a seasonal car. We also have a Tacoma pickup for really bad weather but I am not going to take it just because the temp is <45.
