On the fence gents would appreciate some real world comments on regret factor or positive experiences having paid the 2k or convert (with black tips of course). Yup know the decision is up to me but always appreciate the comments from my brothers on here. Just want something more aggressive, I already do. Good enough job announcing my departure to the neighbors.
Thanks in adavance
You will be very happy. I put the Borla S-Type (NPP) Axle Back System (With the 4.25" Intercooled Black Ceramic Tips) on my 2019 Stingray. Could not be happier. I am not a fan of the OEM bright trumpets. This system gives you a subtle yet sinister look and goes great with the Carbon Flash Package and even better with black wheels and lug nuts. Outstanding sound (my exhaust system is set to track mode all the time). Not too loud but a lot better than the stock system and it gives you a nice burble when you let off the gas. Dealer installed for $2,500. No impact on the car's factory warranty (except for the exhaust system of course). Not to worry because Borla systems have a 1M mile warranty. The NPP valves come with a 3 year warranty.

honeslty I swapped my xpipe and listened to the exhaust next to someone that had done an xpipe and bb fusion and the sounds were very close with the aftermarket have a bit more refined sound. I know it’s not apples to apples but I would suggest you try the xpipe first and see if that coupled with the stock npp exhaust gets you where you want.
from what I have read, and again it’s reading, it just doesn’t sound like the 2500 is worth it for many people....best thing you can do is find a corvette club and go to a meetup to listen to different combinations.
you might find that all you need is the xpipe and save yourself a good chunk
Yup...always my first mod on this my 3rd c7... that said I agree it is a more robust sound with nice burble when you let off the gas,,,,,,,as for the availability of the tips yup I see them still avail but the peeps from CCA are saying no longer for the S-Type... sounds robust in the online clips especially in the “In car” clip ...just a ton of dough ray me ... new set of tires actually ..
I did the xpipe first, than an ATAK NPP in black. I must say that this combo is pretty good.
most of the sound improvement comes from the xpipe, but adding the Borla too gives it a better tone and a little more volume. GREAT combination and you can still tone it down a little if needed.
Great looking pipes ...so yeah the ATAK would be an option and I am not debating the more aggressive sound but I have seen a lot of posts of guys on here selling their freshly purchased ATAK versions for the S do to it being too loud ... not sure I want to go that extreme but always appreciate the input !!

I totally hear you. I’ve owned both S and ATAK, and both are amazing! It’s totally personal preference and both are winners. ATAK can be a bit up there on the decibel meter, but the tone of both are excellent.
