The module can be replaced, but it has to be programmed....and calibrated.
I'm working on retrofitting one of those modules (and the front cameras) into my 2014. I can do the programming, but I don't know how I'm going to deal with the calibration step. It'll be a cold day in hell before I spend $500+ on a vinyl floor mat with some squares printed on it.
