Not quite C7 exclusive, but anyone take a picture of the "Corvette wave" statement?

At the National Corvette Museum, there is a bulletin indicating the corvette wave etiquette, and in going through my museum photos, I realize I forgot to take a picture of it. Anyone have that image on hand they can post here?

Different people have different ways of doing the wave and as long as they do something, I’m OK with that. Still, would be interested in what that bulletin says.

I'm not looking to dictate how to do the wave, even different corvette groups have rules and guidelines on how this is done.
I was wanting to show a copy of it which is enshrined in the National Corvette Museum. When I was there, it was near the giant C1 tile mosaic where it discussed the Corvette wave. Since I'm on my 3rd vette now, I'm thinking I need to do another trip to the museum with the newer C7 Z06. I have a C6 photo of my wife and I at the plant in front of the main entrance with our first C6 and the C7 poster over the door which also was in Torch Red.

The only time I ever see "the wave" is from older Corvette owners (the cars not the drivers).

I do it to any Vette coming at me regardless of year of Vette.

These are from an ancient issue of Corvette News, so I guess they could be called semi-official . . .

With regards to waves, I noticed a lot of C7 owners not waving back. I wave to every vette I see, but the c7 owners seem to be "newer" owners. In my family, there's been C3, C4, C5, C6 and C7 owners so been keeping up tradition.

As long as they don't use the wave with that 1 finger I guess.. I sometimes see the wave but my tint is so dark they probably think I am rude lol.. but I wave

I wave every time I see one. I noticed a dark blue C7 right behind me here in Tucson one day as he switched lanes to pass. The stop light ahead of us turned red so I lowered my window to exchange pleasantries. When he pull right up beside me, he didn’t even glance my way. I took this as hint that he didn’t want to be bothered so I rolled up my window and said f*#k it. I wave but if they don’t wave back, Que Sirah Sirah.

On my sixth generation of Vettes, I usually do a hand wave and usually get one back. Do I really care? No. I assume it’s “different strokes for different folks” and go right on enjoying my ride. I didn’t buy the cars to wave, I bought them to drive.

I am seeing the other Corvette owner flashing his headlights more and more instead of a hand wave.

Hmmm. Many of us stopped “flashing” other Vette owners years ago due to the wear and tear on the older Vettes retractable headlight apparatus and relatively lower cost bulbs Now, I shutter to think of the extra work of pulling the entire front C7 bumper just to replace the headlight bulbs, much less the cost of the expensive HID bulbs. For me, I’ll just continue to wave.

Same with me. Started waving when I bought my 1965 Corvette vert. I worked at Cape Canveral where a lot of us engineeers drove Corvettes. It got to the point that it was easy to wave by flipping the fingers up while holding on to the top of the steering wheel Worked fine. Today , when you wave the other Corvette drivers think you are giving them the middle finger. How thing change as the years go by. I am now on my 5th Corvette a C7. My other ones were 1965, 1967, 1994, and 2006.
