Recently I purchased a drivers side visor with the Homelink buttons for my 2019 Stingray from GMPartsdirect.com. When I got the notification email, I realized I had ordered the visor for a GS instead of my Stingray (Duh). I contacted them through their website and asked that the cancel my order (I’ll order the correct one tomorrow). They responded promptly today with my cancellation and the refund is already in my account. I’ll buy from them again.
I get a better price on parts at my local Chev. dealership than from gmparts.direct. As an example I wanted 2 rear reflectors for my '19 stingray. GM parts direct with shipping $34.53. My local dealership $23.96 no shipping cost involved. Now while the price for the reflectors at GMparts direct was about $4.00 a piece cheaper, the $19+ dollar shipping charge made their price higher.
Is the alcantera, suede? What happened to your 2019 that it needed a new visor?
I think it’s a synthetic suede but I don’t know that for sure. Nothing went wrong with the original visor. I have a 2019 Stingray 1LT and I wanted the Homelink buttons on the visor instead of the awful Kenmore garage door opener clipped to the visor.
