From AC Delco site:

Battery
Part Number: 48HPG
Product Notes:
Gold High Reserve Battery
All; BCI 48, minimum vehicle Reqment: CCA 615/RC 110; Optional; Battery is vented to outside of vehicle; Use vent tube 84309791
Per Vehicle: 1; Years: 2014-2019

A replacement battery needs to be Group (size) 48 and at least 615 CCA. I've used NAPA 8448 for Corvettes and Acadia.

Yes, reuse the vent tube. The battery will have 2 ports. Put the elbow in the port close to the vent tube and plug the other port.

You will need either a battery strap that clamps on the terminals or a rope or strap to loop under the old battery for removal. Some replacement batteries (like NAPA) have built in handles.

Here's a good battery writeup from Jerry U:

http://netwelding.com/Battery_Issues.pdf

Battery replacement is not hard, but it is awkward and tedious. Make sure cables are fully down and level before you tighten them. Be careful not to break the small wire on the negative battery cable.

Have fun!

Ron

Unless you live in a frigid climate a battery with a higher reserve is better than a battery with a higher cold cranking amps. The 48 PG has a higher cca with lower reserve and costs less.

The OEM battery is woefully undersized for all the electrics that are in our cars... 1/2 the electrical gremlins can be traced back to a low voltage condition
After struggling with the OEM battery and always worrying about if it would start after sitting for a few weeks I finally replaced it with this battery and I have never looked back . 920 AMP 760 CCA my car starts like a jet engine even if it sits

That AC Delco battery is what is used when I replaced the one in my C7.
