I have a 2016 stingray with 36,000 miles. Battery shows 14. 6 on tender. However when I drive it drops down to 12.4 or 12.5. If I idle for a minute it moves up to 13.3.
is this normal. I know it’s probably time for a new one. Is my alternator going bad.
Youre due for a new battery based on age. However, eveything you mentioned above is normal. The alternator will regulate voltage based on the charge of the battery. Normal for modern cars.

I agree OP here just make sure you hook this crazy hook up on this battary correct that crazy L piece 7 the correct tq on that bolt. Best thing to do is take a pic's of the full top of the battary & the hook ups & the way stuff goes. Plus that dam battary is a BEAR to get out of that hole I had to go buy a strap to hook to each pole of the battary then lift it out & also to put the new one into place.
Plus that little vent hose piece can be a PITA.. But I like stuff to fit just like factory & will not stop until it is back all in place.. Robert
Normal running voltage should stabilize between 13-14.5 ish volts... A battery failing usually is indicated by charging voltage of ~15 volts or more and not returning to its "normal" range as the electrical system tries to charge the battery with the higher voltage.
Constant voltage of 12.5 is low, but if it rises to 13.3 then it appears the system may be working, if unusually.
My experience with a dozen batteries is that a battery past three years old is a crapshoot, especially in hot or cold climates. Others have reported longer life and YMMV, but experience has taught me that as the battery's third year ends I keep an eye on it.
To ease your mind since the C7 is utterly dependent on its electrical system (read "computers") suggest getting an electrical system check by a tech who knows the C7 to confirm any abnormalities, which might result in swapping out the battery. Please post your results.
Cheers!

what voltage is showing on the car's voltmeter when you put it in ignition mode without starting her?
