Well this has to have been discussed a bunch of times, but I cannot find a thread that details it. Possibly looking at a new 2019 C7. The dealer has already installed the front plate bracket. Is it likely to be removed without showing any holes or damage? If damage is likely, I’ll move onto one from a smarter Dealer.
thanks

If you're talking the holder that extends up over the painted front lip of the front fascia, then depending how long it's been in place, you may have some paint scuffing issues. But the actual mounting (to the grill) won't leave any holes if you remove it
I (like many others) use the Aeroplate instead

It can be removed rather quickly. If you’re serious about purchasing the car, then ask the dealership to remove the bracket and inspect it for yourself prior to finalizing the purchase. I’m sure that they would accommodate your request as opposed to losing the sale.

Should only take about 2-3 minutes to get the plate holder off the car and then you can see if any scratches are present.
As of 2019 California requires dealerships to install the front plate mount as sold cars leave the dealership with paper plates on the font and back of the car.

if so they can just stick a piece of something in between it and the bumper to protect the paint until the customer throws that plate holder away.

Oregon is the same way. When I picked up my new GS, I asked the dealer to borrow a screwdriver and I took it off right there and then
