Can't recall ever hearing this, wondering HTH it happened? Failed adhesive? Water?
Whatever the cause, betting a good body shop w/could fix this w/o costing a bundle.

After owning six Vettes (though two are/were convertibles) I've never heard of or seen this occur. I know there is a spray on cement you use
for headliners but that's the extent of my "expertise". Good luck with the repair and I too hope its a cheap fix.....

Can you please post pictures? The last time I heard of a headliner drooping was back with the older model C4s... Im guessing this would be a warranty claim...maybe?
I had the same problem awhile ago. Somewhere there is another thread about this problem. I fixed it by masking off where I didn't want the overspray to go and sprayed both the headliner and the roof. Let both get tacky and press together. I used 3m 777 but I would think that any good interior glue would work.

I agree. If you are careful spraying the adhesive so it doesn't get on things you don't want it on that should work. Once you press the loose piece back in place you may need to use a roller to make sure it is making good contact with the adhesive.
An automotive upholstery shop can probably fix the problem for not too high of a charge. They might be able to do on a drive in, drive out basis after first taking a look at what needs to be done.
Nope. I don’t smoke. Thanks for the upholstery shop idea. I have one close that supposedly does quality work. Not sure I want to tackle this one on my own.
My '17 GS Headliner's loose too, I haven't taken to using adhesive yet tho' - I just keep pressing it back into contact
Seems like a relatively common complaint
Had this happen on my 14. Depending on severity you could careful pull back the area and use brush-able contact cement or in my case it was a larger issue so I removed the whole headliner, masked everything off and used heavy duty 3M spray adhesive. its held up for a year in Florida heat. They must use the same glue as they do on the leather dash
The corners on my 17 were loose so I sprayed them with the 3M adhesive and it worked like a champ. Easy to do and not worth a trip to the dealer. With blue tape and adhesive in hand no more than 30 minutes.
The corners of my GS had the same problem. I just had it taken care of under warranty. In Fl. it possible can happens with the heat over a period of time.
I had drooping headliners on my last BMW, Porsche and Honda Ridgeline. It cost me from $300 to $400 to get a local upholstery shop to repair. They drop the entire headliner and reupholster it. I believe it might be because I seem to always drive with the window down.
And of course, OP, you can take the roof off and bring it inside (lay on a blanket or similar protective surface on a table) and have gravity be your friend rather than your enemy as you make the repair.
I've had this problem 3 weeks into ownership of a brand new GS.
This is in conjunction with the leather dash near the HUD delaminating from the dash. Took it to the dealership, and they sent the car out to a local upholsterer to have the dash and headliner re-attached.
