Mfg date

Can the actual date of manufacture be determined by the VIN? Is there a chart available that shows which day each number in the final sequence of numbers was produced?

Any GM dealer can look up the build date.

I doubt there is a chart.

Try chevychat.com. They were able to give me my build date.

The VIN will not give you the build date. Take your VIN to your local Chevy dealer and see if they will give you a vehicle history report which will not only show you the build date, but also any dealer performed maintenance/warranty work and a list of options on the car.
