Zaino ?

Sal never wanted his stuff in stores or on shelves. ( very adamant about that for the first 6 or seven years ).( it was not designed to fix a poorly maintained finish ) AS time went on, the demand became overwhelming. Sal went from a two guy operation to an international. mega mogul.
I have not talked with Sal in a long time. With the advent of mas-spectrometers... his formulas are no longer a secret.. I know that Zaino was in Meguires R&D research and development lab. ( inside information ).
In his age, and success, I dont expect he is hurting for money. I do expect he might want to step back and retire. He might sell his business, but I doubt Zaino will leave the market... But then I thought the same thing about MCM hoods. WE know how that went.
Just alittle background and thought.. I always use Zaino, but incorporate other things into my detailing process. Zaino, 99% optically clear, UV stable, molecular bonding to clear, No yellowing carnauba.

I'd rather slap on the Zaino a couple times a year. Simpler.
Call me an old poop...

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

Zaino is the very stable base of my car's finish.... Sal told me a long time ago that the car's finish should always look wet. For over 20 years since Using Zaino, my car's finishes have always looked wet. Ive even had people ask me if the paint was wet... While Sal's formulas are no longer a secret, Ill stick with the originator. There are plenty of products out there just as good Now.
The finish on my wifes Black car is like a mirror. WE all know how hard it is to maintain a black car, yet Zaino was originally designed for a black C5 and to be applied to the car with surface temps in excess of 140F. in bright sunlight and fully UV stable. THAT claim was the reason I became interested on his products in the first place. 20 years later and IM still impressed.

Any improvements would likely be hardly noticeable and probably wouldn't last as long as the Zaino.
This is how the finish looked on my '03 Mustang Cobra after 11 years and 100,000 miles.
Never used anything other than Zaino.

I did use wet obsession for a while. Love the stuff, looks great. But it is a paste wax and only lasts about 3 months. I don't have time to prep and rewax my 3 cars every 3 months. liquid polymers are the way to go now.
