A shop in delaware is offering a performance package of 1 7/8 ARh headers, high flow cats, 3inch off road X pipe, AFE intake, NGK spark plugs and a dyno tune using HP tuners for 4500.
I think the price is a bit steep but this is my first corvette and I am not 100% sure what to think.
Any thoughts? feel free to DM me with videos of yours and the sounds of your corvettes. I wanted more sound and to squeeze out a little more HP to get atleast 500 HP at the crank.
What year Vette do you have?
Is is still under warranty?
Are you ready to lose the warranty if you have one?
Did the company who said they were gunna do the work give you a HP estimate?
Does the state I live in have State inspections and will I pass?
These are the questions I ask myself, I want to do all the same mods you have listed, plus a throaty cam... Then I answer my own questions and I tell myself it is not time yet. Let us know what you decide.

2019 stingray. The high flow cats in NJ should pass inspection. I have buddies with camaros that have had headers and such without a problem.
not all that worried about warranty the car is a year old May 1st. Runs great. 5500 miles.
I did not get a HP estimate from the one place. I’ve reached out to another.
Add up all the parts for starters then see what is left for labor. That may help with your decision?
Couple more factors.Your not gaining much more than maybe 30 hp.Your drivetrain ain't cheap so your gonna wanna play a little more and listen to that sweet music.
I wouldn't yet.I'm gonna go X Pipe only for now.Valvetrain is a must.Should change that for more gains anyway.
Later on when engine is seasoned a bit and seems worthy?
Then would be when.Good luck
So, exhaust and intake are ~ $2300 | Tunes are ~$600 | so around $1600 to install headers and an intake?! Okay!! Come by my house in FL, I'll install them for $1599 I got into the wrong business!!
Like Jack said, the average shop can do all that for much less or with the addition of a much more difficult to install item for the same price..
That shop likely saw you coming a mile away

The shop has it on their site as a complete package. I dont think they chose me specifically to raise the price, the original price as 5K but they decreased it to 4500 on their site. They seem to do good work. I appreciate everyones opinions.
Also they're installing the X pipe too. Which i am not sure how much that costs.

That is a little steep, I did all that plus a cam for that price.
Jack
Thanks for letting me know. Are Cams expensive? Its my first corvette, have had it for a year. I just want to make a good choice here. I am foregoing the cat back exhaust. The guys from the shop said 50-70 RWHP gain with this set up. Think that is accurate?

I think it should be about $3500. I am sure they are getting a reseller price on everything. I am in NY, not the cheapest place and my buddy put basically the same setup in his '14 A8 and it ran him $3000 without the aFe CAI, but included the Dyno. He bought the CAI prior for $425.

I have headers , hi Flow cats , Vararam , Tune and added a EDGYVETTES PORTED intake manifold to the mix , might only be 40 to 45 HP but .... its 40 to 45 HP across the whole power range so yes it is worth it ......
My car pulls like a freight train all the way up to the redline and barks when it shifts into second , I drive my car a lot and did not want to deal with a cam , next mod will be a supercharger but no crazy boost
Dave, your gonna love it on boost! Went from your mods for a year and then procharger, the blower is freaking amazing!!! What a huuuuuge gain from the Bolton’s to the blower. And the whistle with that blowoff valve. Of course you know this but wanted to get you excited so you’ll start looking for a good deal!!! Lol. Hope your safe!! Gary
Gary TPS is running a super deal on LT4 blower conversion for the LT 1 , Everything you need to put a LT4 blower on a LT1 for 4,200
Won't make as much power as a procharger but I like the fact that i can use all factory parts http://www.tpsmotorsports.com/corvet...-corvette.html
