Adjustable exhaust question

I recently bought a C7 Grand Sport, and just love all the electronic gadgetry that it comes with. My question is; does the different levels of exhaust sounds have any affect on power of gas mileage? If it does, I’m sure it is not much, but I’m curious.

Performance exhaust is supposed to provide 5 HP more than standard exhaust. Other than that, just the sweet sounds.

Despite any HP increases, the sound alone is worth having the NPP.

Thanks, I have the NPP exhaust. I was wondering if there is any difference between stealth, tour, sport and track settings as far as power and/or gas mileage. Hope that makes my question a little more clear.

The extra 5 hp will only show up at rpm near redline when the NPP valves (straight pipes) are open, you don't typically run anywhere near 460 hp. There is actually a horsepower gauge you can look at just for fun. Cruising uses less than 50 hp if I recall correctly.
