Just thought i would post the difference between stock and XL stone guards from ACS. I bought these through Custom Corvette Accessories. Fast and quick delivery. If I had my druthers I would do without but they are needed.

They are needed, but honestly, other than you focusing on them because you just installed them, nobody else will notice them compared to the dramatic styling of the C7, and you too will soon forget about them too.
I put trimmed truck mudflaps on the front of my C7, and I really don't even care anymore about the added 2% of ugliness....

I have the same guards on my GS. They work perfectly and blend in well with the design of the car.

I remember when they were called mud flaps. Always liked the look and still do.

Yeah, mudflaps doesn’t sound right for a Corvette.

I purchased the GM narrow ones that stick out just a little bit...looks like they belong on the car.

I can appreciate the extra protection offered by the ACS XL splash guards, but I think the GM extended guards look a bit better.

GM'S Recently painted to match painted spats.23k Miles and are still keeping my sides chip free.
Unless your Off-Roading or flying down non paved roads.

Like that narrower look
