I think a PM to the original poster or a moderator might be your best course of action. You were not clear in the first post that you wanted to talk to a Mod. Maybe the OP asked it to be closed for some reason.
The aftermarket filter did not throw the SES. The incorrect installation of the filter by NOT connecting the MAF threw the codes.
Stating that the filter caused the codes and thus negating the warranty on the car was a cop out by the dealer.
Also, If you put in a filter that you need to oil and over oil it, the resulting problems are on you, the installer.
Blaming the blue filter as an engine destroying, code throwing piece of equipment for the car is not correct.
IF you want the information on the blue filter, I'd imagine a tiny bit of searching on this forum will bring up an item or two.
