Default Why is this thread closed???

Attack Blue Filter voids warranty??

1. I'm interested in the filter
2. I'd like user feedback
3. Mfg'r states filters are sold to dealers and I'd be interested in knowing which dealers.

So why don't you start a thread with that as the subject?

I think it was closed because TKO performance answered the question.

Duh...there was an active thread as of today and it has been closed...therefore my question!

Geez...does everybody with a BS opinion have to chime in? Obviously this question is for the moderator who closed the thread.

I think a PM to the original poster or a moderator might be your best course of action. You were not clear in the first post that you wanted to talk to a Mod. Maybe the OP asked it to be closed for some reason.

I realize you are new so a trip to the forums and guidelines section may be beneficial to you.

We ask that you PM us to ask why a thread is closed as opposed to starting a new thread about it.

I will check and get back to you

I closed that thread.

TKO requested the thread to be closed.

The aftermarket filter did not throw the SES. The incorrect installation of the filter by NOT connecting the MAF threw the codes.
Stating that the filter caused the codes and thus negating the warranty on the car was a cop out by the dealer.
Also, If you put in a filter that you need to oil and over oil it, the resulting problems are on you, the installer.

Blaming the blue filter as an engine destroying, code throwing piece of equipment for the car is not correct.

IF you want the information on the blue filter, I'd imagine a tiny bit of searching on this forum will bring up an item or two.

I found 17 by searching "blue filter" in the search box. Here's a few...
