Callaway 627
thanks

Callaway Sport Exhaust, for example?
It was an $18,000 option to the car. What was the window sticker of the car new, then add the Callaway options.

The Callaway exhaust was a $3,000 option. So sounds like $21,000, plus the car. What was the car one new? $70k? So perhaps $91,000 new?
There's a couple ways to look at this... It sounds like it was a but less than a new Z06, so should be a bit less than a used one w/ similar miles.
Or, take your depreciation of the base car and then depreciate the Callaway content by the same percentage. In other words, if the car depreciated 50% (using easy numbers for an example, but could have only depreciated 40%, etc.), then the car is worth $35k... Add the Callaway package which depreciated a theoretical 50%, as well, or add $10,500, and you are at $45,500.
But like I said, if it's depreciated 45%, then you are doing better then their "asking price"
Hope this helps.

if it is the yellow one I looked at it months ago and was surprised it wasn't on a Z51 platform which I find weird.
The bigger mystery is why did the guy write such a crap ad?

decided against getting it, he says he wants 58k firm Canadian which is 41-42k US depending on exchange, 4800km, sounds like a great car to me, I was looking for parts for my c5 and maybe a c6z06 when I saw this but it’s to much of a stretch for me right now. Anyway good deal for someone I think.

We had a Callaway Camaro. My wife still wishes for that one to return to our garage. She had just gone back to work that year, and the car was too nice to leave parked in the lot for door dingers.
