Default C7 soft top problems

HI. Having issues on my 2015 C7 Convertible where the roof is malfunctioning generally when closing. The system has been checked to no avail. A new control module has been fitted and all the sensors checked to be OK. At the moment the top is up in position - latched at the front windscreen but not latched at the back of the roof.
Any ideas, procedures, or help would be welcome.
Thanks.
TJ

Did you check the partition in the hatch area to make sure it is locked in the proper position.

Did you check the entire top enclosure area to see if anything is blocking the path of travel? I had a small bolt lodged in my C5 travel path that stopped it from closing. Once removed, the problem was fixed.

Yes - it's good. The partition storage area in the trunk is as it should be. Nothing is blocking the travel path of the roof. It's locked in at the front.

Try re indexing your side windows as per the owners manual. How old is your battery?

I had this happen once on my Vert, I disconnected battery for about 10 minutes, everything went back to normal. If battery is 4 years old or older, I would change it, the C7 does weird stuff with old battery.

To do the ALT-CTRL-DEL to the car, use your owner's manual to find the location of your ECM/TCM fuse (2014 is #52 in Engine Bay Fuse Box), unplug it for a few minutes and you should reboot. Disconnecting the battery negative terminal achieves the same result, but it is a bit more time consuming.

Thanks for your suggestion. Battery is only 15 months old and always kept fully charged so don't think that's the prob.

Hi. Thanks for your efforts. Pretty sure nothing is bent - all looks normal when viewed via the trunk. Watched the video OK. Had a few probs with the roof not opening or closing properly and getting stuck halfway. Think it could be sensors not connecting properly.

Default C7 convertible roof problem

Hi. Good news ! Managed to get the roof stowed OK. The roof had got to locked on the front windshield with the rear floating body panel (that covers the roof stowage compartment) locked down in place but the soft rear of the roof with the rear window in had not locked down onto the black body strip.
Inside the trunk you can get to the mechanism each side that operates the rear floating body panel. There is a hexagonal hole in one of the arms that will take an Allen key (see picture).

Insert and pull the Allen key stem (might need an extension on it to get the leverage needed) towards the back of the car. This will release the locking mechanisms for the floating body panels on each side and enable the panel to be moved backwards manually to expose the stowage compartment. I then raised the rear window into the upright open position and pressed the switch to power down the roof and it all happened fine !! Don't know whether I will get a problem when I try to close it !! I'll keep you all posted.
Many thanks for the suggestions submitted.
