I use one on my car.

Pros:
Easy on/off
Compact storage
Machine washable
Not affected by use in rain
Does good job of protecting the front end from most bug strikes
Good one year warranty covering defects.

Cons:
Will get punctured by larger rocks or perhaps even large bugs
Will tear if it comes in contact with a hard surface like a parking stop.

That’s what I can think of off the top of my head.

I had one on my C5, (2) C6s and (2) C7s - best $150 you will ever spend on your car. Easy to install (maybe 20 min) then 2 to 3 min on / off. Easy, quick protection, that lets your car breathe and is much better looking than paint chips...

PS - never had any one of them rip...but my friend had a small hole in one and called them and they sent him a free one - no questions asked.

I like 'em, but went through 2 of them in about 4 years. They tear easily.

+1 Vetteman Jack with a couple of additions...
If you have the front cameras they are ineffective during the day and utterly useless in low light/low contrast conditions unless you have reinforced holes installed over them so you can actually SEE the obstacles
The lower outer corners are retained by wrapping around the fender corner and look to be a likely failure location.

I'm truly not trying to be jerky, but I just don't get this logic. Rock chips are unsightly, but not guaranteed and most of the time you don't notice unless you're closer to the car (even if you have a bunch). If you put a big black bra on the front of your car, it's guaranteed to look bad and from a much further distance.

I am super picky about keeping my car in top shape and am trained at seeing small details from my former years as a detailer. I understand the pain of imperfections, but with the clear bra technology, why are you guys still putting these on your beautiful front ends?

Had one for the Z for about a week, took it off. OK as a bug catcher, that's about it. Needed my cameras to enter the bay on center for guidance over the scissors lift, lost that with the cover, and the first thing I noticed, a 10-12° rise in normal running engine temp, didn't like that at all.

A 10-12° rise in engine temp is not only small it’s not an issue. I’ve driven through the Nevada desert In 107 degree heat and engine temp was barely above normal with the bra on.

I use mine on long highway trips or when roads are still dirty after winter in the NE. Super easy install and on/off. Wash it out by hand in the sink and hang it to dry. Things like large rocks or hard objects that will penetrate it will wreck expensive protective films and coatings anyway. I think it's a great value and provides some much needed protection for the front end if you want it.

That may be quite alright for you, but for me, I'm not comfortable with it, but thanks for your comment.

Will not protect against rock chips in most cases, tears easily, ugly as hell but will work well as a bug collector. I just carry a good detail spray and bug remover with a microfiber towel, works for me bUT many still like the old look bra.

I have one and it keeps the front bug free on trips. Besides with a mask it helps the car from getting the virus. 😂

You ask a valid question. I can only answer it this way. Vette's are so low to the ground, you are almost guaranteed to get some type of road debris damage to your front end. So paint chips, scratches and minor dings are (pretty much) inevitable and to think it wont is (to me) foolish. Now clear bras are good, but cost ALOT of money - (Im guessing) around 10x the cost of a NoviStretch bra...

Now to say a bra is "ugly" seems silly. When your driving your car (when the bra is needed) you cant see your car - so who's making the "ugly" judgement? I still get waves and thumbs up when my bra is on - so no one seems to think my Vette is "ugly"...

Here is the front end of my C5 before I had it repainted - once the bra was installed I never had so much as a scratch (and that is true for all (5) Vettes I've used it on).

You really think a bra is uglier than this?

Have had mine for 5 years through two C7s.and only use it for long highway trips. I have XPEL on the current car so this is a little bit of belt and suspenders but for the occasional road trip, why not? I did not have XPEL on the first car and no doubt it helped preserve the front end. It’s very effective and it certainly stops small stones as well as bugs. Just a couple of minutes on and off and easy to clean even while traveling. No affect on temperature that Ive seen. It’s not on the car most of the time so how it looks (which is not that bad) is not really a factor. This is about function and for me, it has been a great value for the cost.

Had mine for 5 years now and is it perfect? Nope, but it stops bugs and debris and smaller stones. I'd get one again and have used it on 7 long trips all over 3000 miles. Just saying!

I use the Novistretch for long trips, like driving to Carlisle. I made a couple mods to the bra for license plate removal and using the front cameras.

I put one on my 2016 Stingray right after I bought it. It has held up very well. So far, it has protected the front end against whatever might have dinged it. I have had it on during track days at speeds of 148 mph with no problems. It is easy to remove when washing the car. I like the look too, so I see no down side.

Too bad they stopped making the one that had holes for the camera. I saw one on a grand sport that was in our Corvette Caravan last summer. I asked the owner where he got and he told me it was a Novistretch.

I have one for my Stingray and anytime I think i will be on the interstate in Florida...I put it on. It does a fantastic job at keeping the radiator clean and 100% of those dreaded lovebugs of the paint. And I actually dont think its all that ugly. However, The biggest con is not having the fwd cameras. Can you elaborate a little on how you were able to put the holes for your cameras and what you used to reinforce the holes. I like the mod you made! Here is mine...
