There was a thread on this forum with lots of details and when I saw it I liked the look, but most poo-poo'ed the idea here (as usual). It is your car and you can decide. It is not expensive to try it and you can easily rip it off if you don't like it!
Maybe my experience will help. I found the exact matching color of wrap in a small piece on Amazon cheap. I then followed the instructions on the thread and tried to make a paper template. Don't bother! It did not turn out well and I ripped it off.
Instead, buy some of the 3M vinyl wrap tear string tape. What you do in lay down the string tape first on the outline of the area. That way you can use the string to cut the EXACT outline and it will look professional. Remember which string you have to pull up first since they lay over one another around the edges. Next cover the area with the wrap and use a hair dryer to heat up any wrinkles that occur.. Carefully use the string to cut the edges.
If you take your time, it will come out good. If not, take it all off and start again. It is not rocket science. There are many YouTubes out there on how it is done.
I think one one side I was not happy with it so I ripped it off and redid it and it turned out better. The more you practice the better you become at it. Just buy a bit extra wrap than you think you need! I think I bought the smallest piece I could find on Amazon it was enough to make 3 sets.
I have had mine one for a couple years now. I did not think it would last that long but it has

these are a really thin "plastic" type material so they don't stick up. fit perfectly and you can get any color. I like them. They don't affect light output.

i bought the eylids from RPI. I’m not a fan of the vinyl decal, I think it looks better with a little “depth.” Ive seen some other “versions” and like quality from RPI the best. I bought them unpainted for my yellow stingray and then again for the Z06.
I really like what you did with the wrap or paint on the front lower bumper/grill area. Looks sharp

I have red hash stripes on the fender and will likely put on Red Eyelids for a little more splash of color after the CF ones wear thin.
