I have a see thru tint top on my C7 and have found here in Florida, it is better for me to leave the roof on all the time and just roll down the windows.
with the see thru roof, it is just like having the top off. You can see the sky and clouds but it is cooler and a little quieter with top on.
Less wind noise to bother my tinnitus. I leave my see thru roof on all the time, never use my body color roof.

In 1965 my dad purchased a 65. Even though it also had a hard top he never had it on. In 1978 I purchased a 78 and in 1979 my sister purchased a 79. I just sold the 65 last April and my 78 in November to get the 2015. I would have purchased a convertible but I love the look of the coupe. With the 78 t-tops removal was easy. There is something about having a sense of freedom when the top is removed for me. Hopefully I can experience it again. Thank you for sharing.

anyone else worried that suction cups could rip off the paint? I thought old door ding fixers basically pulled the dent out via suction. So could these do the same thing?

No paint on the transparent tops. And the other tops are carbon fiber so they ain't going to dent.
