Default Great C8 vs C7 pic

I saw this pic posted from the NOVA corvette club and with both cars being the same color, same color wheels, I thought it makes a nice comparison. I know there is a lot of opinions on the C8 but I think they are both great looking vettes. I am still in love with my C7Z!

I do like about 90% of that C8, but the tail end is not good. I know there was a ton of back and forth debate about C7 tail lights but the rear of the C8 goes way beyond that. It's just not a good looking rear end.

I wondered if they put that front bumper to the C7 ZR1 just for continuity to the C8. It's really the only resemblance between the two generations. Kinda like putting the C2 rear end on the last couple years of the C1.

I tell you, now that I'm seeing some C8's in person, the rear is not as bad as I thought it would be based on pics I've seen. The only view that turns me off is side view looking over the front end. The short stubby front and the designer's desire to make sure that there are still peaks of the fenders to see from inside has created a really blocky front as seen from that angle. Still a bad a$$ ride and I'm eagerly awaiting future hi po versions.

I saw them at KSC and at the Rolex 24. They're growing on me. I don't hate the rear end so much as I hate the Z51 spoiler. Not a fan of the wing spoiler either. But that may change by the time I'm in the market for one.

Very cool pic of two beautiful cars. Would not mind either one in my garage.

My first thought when looking at that picture. The C8 looks good ya nice car but DAM that ZR1 looks GODLY!! Just like zeus slaying his enemy lol. No question to me in that picture the C7 outclasses the C8. I like C8's in general but vs a Z06/ZR1 ehh not so much.

I say this every time I see a C8... black wheels w/polished lip make the wheels look smaller. The C7 wheels look a full 1" bigger. I saw a red C8 in person with all black wheels (much better) at the dealer and it shows much better in person. The car looked amazingly wide and more exotic. I still think I prefer the C7, however I preferred the C6 over the C7 for a good solid two years until one day I didn't!

I'm not a fan of those wheels either. I think the "trident" style is the only one that looks good on the C8 (I think that's the name).

Aftermarket wheels are a must for the C8.

Not fair, the C8 has those ugly stock wheels. After market and I'd have a hard time deciding between the two.

Edit: Ahh scratch that. That's a ZR1. No contest.
