Trunk lid inoperable
Replaced the battery and a single black cable towards the rear of the battery compartment was disturbed now the trunk lid will not operate from the fob or the underdash button. Does anyone know what this black electrical cable does. Is it for the trunk lid

Fixed I saw where a 08 car had a similar problem and the car thought the top was not secure and wouldn't let the trunk lid operate.
So I cycled the top down and up and now the trunk lid operates by remote or under dash button. Go figure
