Engine plenum zip tie standoff
Find some zip ties that are the same width as the width long portion of the original, "captive" zip ties that were part of these parts.
Then, on your car / just like in the picture,
remove the free part of the zip tie (just pull it out, in the correct direction), and cut the other, captive end of the zip tie as per the picture I've attached.
Now, with all of the remnant of the zip tie removed from the "post", you can thread a new zip tie into the post, and then use the zip tie as normal. Next time you take the cover off, you just cut and pull the new zip ties off, but you still keep the old "posts" that are captively attached to the engine cover. So, infinite reusability moving forward.
Sorry, I don't have any images of this on my car (it's all buttoned up).
TL, DR: by cutting off the captive, single-use zip tie of this kind of post, you can re-use the original GM part as a "post only", along with a replaceable aftermarket zip tie that is captured by the post.

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
You are a life saver.
It looks like I can break many of them now (about 50)! lol
I didn't brake any of the longer one, but I could just use a piece of tubing or something else to make an extension if needed.
