Just installed my new front splitter painted in carbon flash... It makes such a difference. I have carbon flash spats coming in about 2 weeks.
The job was super easy and took me about an hour and 15 min (doing it alone).
Some tips to help you install yours:
1) Do NOT remove the two side air dams - I used them to hold the old and the new splitter when taking screws / rivets out and also when installing new screws / rivets
2) I used a box to hold up the center area just while screwing in the first few center screws
3) I used a 9/64 size drill bit to drill out the rivets BUT I also needed to hammer a small screwdriver in to break off the top of the rivet
4) Make sure you get all the old rivet material out of the holes and out from under the plastic parts or you will hear them bouncing around or they can get between the splitter and the body
5) I used screws and rivets but I also did some small strips of 3M double sided tape too - its really holding on strong
6) Make sure ALL the holes line up BEFORE the 3M tape bonds - if your holes are off by a fraction on one end, they will be really off on the other end

It looks great! I am planning on adding the same one to my new 2019 Stingray, Where did you find the best price on the Poverty Splitter in Carbon Flash, or did you have it painted at a local shop?
Thanks!
You see all the photo's of a painted splitter here. You look at your unpainted spats and splitter and say,Looks Good why paint it?
Then you purchase one with the winglets.Add painted spats, mud guards and wonder....
Why the Hell didn't I do it sooner?
Such a Huge Difference
Did you have someone paint it or do it yourself? Are the rivets you used the 4 most forward locations? Thanks.
I ordered it painted in carbon flash - it matches perfectly to all the other factory carbon flash on the car. Actually there are a total of (10) rivets - 5 on the left side and 5 on the right side. Yes - they are the ones you see in the forward position in my picture above. There are (12) bolt-head screws that you will reuse (if taking off an old splitter). The kit came with the (10) rivets but most rivet gun kits come with some too.

I ordered it off Amazon - they were the only company that I found who stated they used genuine GM factory splitters, sanded them (called smoothie) then painted them and cleared them. I wanted a 100% factory look but just in carbon flash.
