Long Beach Red
I am considering it.
- During a sunny day it's a dark candy apple red with varying colors in the curves and shadows
- With a bit of overcast it turns more of a burgundy color
- At night it takes on a metallic root beer color...

Also, IMO the factory pics don't do the color justice. They don't show the depth and variation of the color, especially in the sun... If you haven't seen one up close and personal, would be a good idea to do so...

However be forewarned that dark red seems to be the "official" Corvette color for Florida.
I live near Sarasota and it seems every Corvette show I attend, 50% of the Corvettes, across the C5, C6, and C7 generations are dark red, whether that's Anniversary Red, Magnetic Red, Crystal Red, Precision Red, Long Beach Red, etc. When I pulled the trigger in 2018 and ordered my 2019 Z06, it came down to Long Beach Red or Arctic White. In the end, I compromised and went with the Arctic White and Adrenaline Red interior combo. I know there are more Arctic White C7s out there, but for some reason, I don't see that many near where I live. For example, in our local club of 100+ members, I have the only Arctic White C7 Z06, however we have 3 Long Beach Red Z06s plus another 5-10 Long Beach Red C7 Stingrays and Grand Sports. It's a popular color and the C7 wears it well.
Good luck!

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

I’d say LBR is probably the 4th flashiest color after Torch Red, Yellow and Orange. Grey is probably the least flashy just because most cars theses days are some shade of grey.
Only 6% of C7s are LBR. it’s a more sophisticated color for the discriminating palette

I've had three Corvettes with similar color; C4, C5, and C6; and about 15 others in bright red or black. The LBR variants were the only ones where women would come up to me and start a conversation.... and it happened a lot. I'm not saying "get this color and get girls" but rather the male-dominated demographic of this forum is not a true indication of the world in general. Currently my C7 is basic red but I would swap it for LBR in a nanosecond.
White or grey is what I want but with the options I desire, none for sale in Florida.
Searched Nationwide on Autotrader, very little out there or it's on the other side of the country; Calif, Oregon, Washington.
Long Beach Red will probably suffice because the last thing I want to do is buy from of Calif, Oregon, Washington.

As I stated, my post was not about picking up girls. Point was that half of of the population seems to really like it. Sorry (really sorry) about your marriage, from personal experience I can add that they're not all like that.

See if you can see a LBR in person and if it's good for you check out MacMulkin - they've got a lot of 'em.... If you don't like it, move on to another choice.
We have had 9 black cars, including 6 Corvettes.
But for this one we opted for LBR.
WOW !!!!!!! We are so very pleased, and many others say "what a fantastic looking car/colour".

If you have not already, you should see it in person. While flattering, these pictures don't deliver the elegance and complexity LBR has to offer.
Best of luck with your selection.
