Default Protektskidplates

I just wanted to give a shoutout to Protekskidplates for their great customer service. I had installed their 3 piece set on my 2019 Z06 to protect the stage 2 splitter. It is a very well made piece of heavy duty polypropylene; well finished and machined. It is thick enough to be sacrificial as it scrapes the ground on dips, etc. My wife had a bit of a mishap and bumped a parking curb. The passenger side skid plate broke at the thin machined mounting points, as it sacrificed itself. These units aren't cheap. I bought mine online for $180, but figured it'd be worth it to save the expensive carbon fiber splitter. I emailed the manufacturer, Protektskidplates, to see if I could bu just the broken pieces rather than find a whole new unit. They responded that a new piece would be $15.00, including shipping. Great!! So I ordered the new piece, after confirming it was for my Z06, passenger side piece. The package arrived today. I was quite surprised to discover they had sent me all 3 pieces. I now have enough for a whole new plate. That is great customer service! I'd highly recommend this to anyone.

That’s funny, because I got absolutely no customer service from them at all.
no response to my Inquiry and I’m not sure of any other way to contact them.

I just went to their website and clicked on the contact link. it let me submit the info. A gentleman named Mitch responded in less than a day.
Worked well for me.

I’ve had my skid plate over 2 years now. It’s been a great product for me so far, and Mitch was a pleasure to deal with.

the moment passed.

i was under the impression that the stage 3 version of the protector would fit using existing screw holes, and I clarified I had the ACS front splitter with under tray.

none of the screw holes lined up anywhere close.I got around that by using short self tapping screws. But had I known I would have bought the ACS version.

Interesting. I have the OEM aero 3 splitter with the high vertical stage 3 end plates on my Z06. I ordered the designated protector to go with this. Everything fit perfectly.

If the ACS splitter uses the stock screw locations I would expect the protector to fit as well.
