So, I generally lag a generation behind on vettes due to price (currently own a 2011 GS). So, I’ve been casually looking online at C7s in my area and have noticed that C7s seem to be slowly inching up in prices over the past six months. Is that the case or is it just my local area (central VA)
Not slowly...moving very fast, strongest prices I've ever seen for previous generations. I've given up and am going to wait till winter time and start looking again then. Strange thing is C6 prices are along for the ride, especially ZO6 and GSs crazy market right now. Stranger yet is markup versus trade prices. Used to be you could count on wholesale plus a couple K for a private sale and wholesale plus 4-5K from a dealer. Private owners are asking wholesale plus 5K, dealers have lost their collective mind on the ask for some cars. Crazy times for sure. No supply equals crazy prices.
I agree and everyone thought the C6 and C7 prices would come way down with the C8 out. I have been looking for one and prices are well above the average price point. I finally found one but still paid more than I should of.

Yes, the prices for previous generations are moving up due to (1) the arrival of prime driving season and (2) problems with new car production due to the pandemic. Will the uptick in pricing continue - probably not in the long run, but for now it is a sellers market.

Once it was pretty well confirmed that the C8 2020 would be automatic transmission, I set about for my C7 Stingray manual transmission. I l♡ve my M7 Corvette! Too boring driving an automatic transmission sports car.

Congrats boys - you've made this thread be locked. And Kevin was right-NO political commentary here....the is a Political Section for that kind of stuff. Besides, what was the original theme of this thread???? C7 pricing is what the OP started the thread about. So how did you people get political in a C7 pricing thread????
Again, congrats-another thread closed because of off topic discussion and pissing matched.
